Chris has been working with Middlebrooks since July 2017 and has been in the insolvency industry for over 10 years. Prior to his stint at Middlebrooks, he worked for the Insolvency Service in the Redundancy Payments Office and was involved in processing and approval of redundancy payments to previous employees of companies who were in financial difficulty.
Chris was initially employed by Middlebrooks to work in the IVA sector and his client base was throughout England and Wales. This was an area that initially he did not have much experience but was given the opportunity to grow and develop his knowledge and skills.
Chris believes that skill development runs right through the heart of Middlebrooks. All employees are always actively encouraged to meet new challenges through the unprecedented levels of support they are given. Chris shares that this opportunity could not have been afforded anywhere else and has lead to him learning new skills and eventually increasing his insolvency knowledge. Chris is now involved in all aspects of insolvency cases for both existing and new clients.
Chris holds the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency qualification which he gained from the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Scotland).
In his spare time Chris coaches youth football and runs a local team that provides regular supervised sessions for children aged from 6-15.
