In this case, we advised an individual who was the director of a limited company which was experiencing financial difficulty. As a result of personal guarantees given in respect of company debts the individual was also experiencing personal financial issues.
The company was under debt of £78,000 and the individual’s personal debt had mounted to £76,000. These issues were causing the individual an extreme amount of stress and unease.
Our team spent a lot of time with the individual discussing his options and the processes involved and ultimately had one of our IPs appointed as Trustee in his sequestration and Liquidator in a Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidation (CVL) of the Company.
The individual commented on how his stress was instantly alleviated and how much better he felt. Both cases are well underway now and are set to complete within 12 months of appointment. Within one year this person’s life has completely transformed and they are now able to move forward with their life.
